During an appearance on 'The Only One In The Room' podcast, the ex-wife of Eric Dane opens up about the 2001 accident that killed a child and led her to contemplate suicide.

AceShowbiz - Actress Rebecca Gayheart was suicidal with guilt and grief after taking a child's life in a car crash.
The "Beverly Hills, 90210" star killed nine-year-old Jorge Cruz, Jr in 2001 as he walked across a Los Angeles street, and now admits she lost the will to live after the tragedy.
"I just didn't want to live after that accident," the 47-year-old said during an appearance on "The Only One In The Room" podcast on Tuesday, May 21.
Gayheart admitted the fatal crash still haunts her years later.
"I had a very terrible accident happen... Everything changed from that and, you know, I still have trouble talking about it, obviously, so if I get emotional, I apologise," she shared, "That... changed me. And, luckily, I came out the other side and really positive things have happened in my life since then."
Rebecca is now mum to two children of her own, daughters Billie, nine, and Georgia, seven, from her marriage to estranged husband Eric Dane.
She separated from Dane last year after 14 years of marriage.
