Bradley Welsh's Murder Suspect Charged for Edinburgh Shooting

The 28-year-old man is expected to make an appearance before Edinburgh Sheriff Court in connection with the death of the 'T2 Trainspotting' actor in mid-April 2018.

AceShowbiz - A man has been charged in connection with the murder of "T2 Trainspotting" actor Bradley Welsh.

The 48-year-old, who played gangland figure Mr Doyle in 2017 film, was shot as he walked down the steps to his basement apartment in Edinburgh, Scotland, as he returned home from his Holyrood Boxing Gym on 17 April. He was found lying on a staircase and died at the scene.

Representatives for Police Scotland confirmed on Monday, May 13, that a 28-year-old has been charged in connection with Welsh's death, and will appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

The suspect was also charged with the attempted murder of a 48-year-old man and the serious assault of a 22-year-old man on 13 March.

A police spokesman said, "Members of the public are thanked for their assistance with both of these investigations."
