While the 'Umbrella' hitmaker praises Bernard Arnault for giving her unique opportunity to develop Fenty Maison, the luxury group's chief executive calls her a 'true entrepreneur' and 'terrific leader.'

AceShowbiz - Rihanna has confirmed she will debut designs for her very own luxury fashion house this Spring.

The singer's fashion line will be developed by her in association with the world's largest luxury group, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and will be called Fenty Maison.

The 31-year-old's new venture will be based in Paris, France, and her line includes ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories, and "is centered on Rihanna, developed by her, and takes shape with her vision," according to a statement from LVMH.

In her own statement the "Umbrella" hitmaker praised LMVH chief executive Bernard Arnault for helping her realise her dream of launching her own high-end fashion house.

"Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us. Mr. Arnault has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits," she said. "I couldn't imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I'm ready for the world to see what we have built together."

Arnault added that he was impressed with the business tenacity the singer showed while working with LVMH on her Fenty Beauty line of cosmetics.

"Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH," he gushed.

The collection will debut with a fashion show in Spring 2019, but no exact dates have been confirmed, and images of the products will be released on social media over the next few weeks, according to WWD.
