Meanwhile, another fan-favorite character of the eighth and final season of the hit HBO fantasy series is killed as Jon, Daenerys Targaryen and others are facing off Cersei Lannister in King's Landing.

AceShowbiz - The fourth episode of "Game of Thrones" has entered a new chapter following the Battle of Winterfell. In the Sunday, May 5 episode, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Arya Stark and others will have to face off their remaining enemy, Cersei Lannister, in King's Landing before Dany takes over the Iron Throne.

[SPOILER ALERT!] The episode kicked off with the survivors of the brutal fight in the last episode honoring those who died, including Jorah Mormont, Lyanna Mormont, Theon Greyjoy and Dolorous Edd, in a mass funeral. Dany bid farewell to Jorah, while Sansa cried over Theon's lifeless body. She then left her Stark pin on his chest.

Later, Daenerys stopped Gendry from going out to find Arya. She told him that she knew about his real identity as Robert Baratheon's son, much to Jaime Lannister's surprise. Dany then legitimized Gendry, making him Lord Gendry Baratheon of Storm's End. Tyrion praised Dany for her decision, to which she replied, "You're not the only one who's clever." Meanwhile, Sansa thought that Dany had something up her sleeve with her legitimizing Gendry.

One major change happened between Brienne and Jaime after Tyrion brought up the fact that Brienne was a virgin in front of his brother. Things got awkward, so Brienne decided to walk out of the room and Jaime followed her. Tormund saw them heading to the same place, and he cried to The Hound since he knew for sure what would happen between them. Indeed, Brienne later lost her virginity to Jaime.

Sansa and The Hound later had a talk about Ramsay Bolton. She told him she gave Ramsay what he deserved, and The Hound said, "You've changed little bird." He told the Lady of Winterfell that he felt guilty that she didn't left King's Landing with him. Sansa, however, held his hand and said to him she would have "stayed a little bird" forever without Littlefinger and Ramsay.

Gendry finally found Arya and excitedly told her about his new title. They kissed before he proposed to her, saying, "Be my wife. Be the Lady of Storm's End." But Arya rejected him. "I am not a lady. I never have been. That's not me," she told him.

Jon and Dany then talked about their relationship after sharing a passionate kiss. Dany said that she wished he'd never told her about his parents, and begged him not to tell his family who he really was. But Jon knew he needed to tell Sansa and Arya, though he assured Dany that "you are my queen," adding, "Nothing will change that."

It's time to discuss the next plan to take down Cersei, though Sansa told Dany that the soldiers were exhausted after the battle against the Night King. However, Dany said that she didn't want to waste any time and Jon agreed with her, surprising Sansa and Arya. After they ended the meeting, Arya asked Jon to have a talk with her.

The two later were joined by Sansa and Bran in the godswood, where Jon told them that everyone would be dead if not for Dany. But Sansa pointed out that it was Arya who killed the Night King, with Arya saying, "We don't trust your queen." Jon wanted to break the news before Bran did it for her, telling his sisters that Jon was the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark.

Tyrion and Jaime's moment was interrupted by Bronn who showed up with his crossbow. He told them that Cersei had sent him to kill them both, but would listen to what they could offer for him. Tyrion then told him that he could have Highgarden. Meanwhile, Arya and The Hound joined forces to kill The Mountain and Cersei.

Sansa broke her promise to Jon as she told Tyrion about Jon's real identity as Aegon Targaryen. Jon, meanwhile, gave Tormund, who headed back to North, his direwolf Ghost. Sam and Gilly decided to honor Jon by telling him that he would name his and Gilly's unborn baby Jon.

Varys then learned the truth about Jon during their way to King's Landing. "He has the better claim to the throne. The fact is people are drawn to him," he said. Dany was on the back of Drogon when Rhaegal was shot by Euron Greyjoy. The dragon died and fell into the sea.

As Euron attacked the ship with Tyrion inside, Tyrion swam ashore alongside Varys and Grey Worm. Cersei took Missandei as her prisoner. Cersei let the gates to the castle open, because she knew Dany was coming to her. Varys tried to tell Dany that attacking King's Landing now would result in thousands of innocent people dying. However, she didn't want to listen to him.

Meanwhile, Varys kept telling Tyrion that Jon was more a rational ruler than Dany, but Tyrion told him that what they were doing right know was discussing treason and they could have died in Dany's hands. Tyrion said that Dany and Jon could rule as equals, but Varys knew that wouldn't happen since Dany would not be fond of the idea. Varys' stance had fully shifted, though it remained to be seen when it came to Tyrion's.

Jaime stayed in Winterfell, but as soon as he realized that Cersei might die in the impending battle against Dany, she left Brienne, who begged her to stay. In King's Landing, Tyrion tried to negotiate with Qyburn to no avail. He then went to Cersei, begging her to step down. She was about to kill Tyrion, but she stopped because she couldn't kill her brother despite her hatred.

One major character died at the end of the episode as The Mountain killed Missandei in front of Tyrion, Dany and Grey Worm. Before she died, her last word was, "Dracarys."
