Breaking the casting news, Lin-Manuel Miranda reveals that the 'Be My Baby' singer will take on the role of Nina Rosario, while the 'Vida' actress is tapped to star as Vanessa.

AceShowbiz - Actresses Leslie Grace and Melissa Barrera have joined the cast for the upcoming "In the Heights" movie adaptation.
They will join Corey Hawkins and Anthony Ramos in director Jon M. Chu's revamp of Lin-Manuel Miranda's hit stage musical.
Miranda made the casting announcement via Twitter on Thursday, April 11, with actress and singer Grace pegged to play Nina in the film and Barrera announced as Vanessa.
