There are also Instagram users who slam him for not marrying the late model when she was still alive, and the hip-hop mogul apparently agrees as saying, 'Don't be like me.'

AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' latest tribute to late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter has been met with some criticism. Over the weekend, the hip-hop mogul took to Instagram to honor the model by sharing a photo of them leaning against a white Rolls Royce in the California desert along with a heartfelt caption, but some began to doubt his genuineness.

Alongside the photo which was taken when they were still together, Diddy recalled, "I remember Kim flying to see me on the set of can't nobody hold me down. She took like a 12 hour flight to LA and 3 hour ride to the desert. With no complaints. Was always ride or die. From day 1" Diddy continued by comparing themselves to Bonny and Clyde, adding, "This picture will go down in history as the first time I said she was hers."

"Miss you BONNIE," the rapper continued, "and will forever. Maaan life is beautiful to have had these experiences. Love you baby."

As sweet as the tribute might be, some were not having it since Diddy once dated Jennifer Lopez shortly after he broke up with Kim the first time. One didn't even hesitate to call him out directly, writing in the comment section, "But you ended up messing with Jlo at that time." However, the "Last Night" hitmaker wouldn't let the troll ruin his beautiful tribute as he simply replied, "Yes I did."

There were also some who blasted him for not marrying Kim at the time, with one writing, "And You Never Married her Whyyyyy??? Yes I said it... you fake... my opinion." Responding to this, he defended himself, "Never fake. I wasn't ready and that's it. I'm ready now but it's too late. Don't be like me." Another suggested that he should have made Kim his "wifey," to which he answered, "Facts."
