In related news, series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa reveals that he's planning to have a musical episode to conclude the season.

AceShowbiz - Sabrina is going to have darker storyline in upcoming season 2 of "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina". Netflix has unleashed the official trailer of the sophomore season, which is set to arrive on the streaming giant on April 5, revealing the "dark path" that the teenage witch is taking in the new season.

The 2-minute footage opens with Sabrina setting fire to Baxter High School. Somewhere in the trailer, she can also be seen killing a small army of warlocks in the woods. The trailer also teases that Sabrina has done a slew of things that not many of half-mortal students manage to do, including levitation, the slaughter of demons as well as resurrection of witches.

Amid the dark, gory scenes featured in the trailer, there is a scene of Sabrina making out with Nick. It is also glimpsed that Sabrina and her mortal friends are having fun at a dance party.

Toward the end of the trailer, the half-witch half-mortal seemingly is meeting the Dark Lord. "What is it that you want from me?" she asks.

In related news, series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa reveals that he's planning to have a musical episode to conclude the season. "We have an amazing musical number in the finale," he announced at Los Angeles' Pacific Design Center after screening the first episode.

"It's been something we've been wanting to do since the beginning. One of the last days of shooting... I went up to Vancouver the day they were doing this big number," he went on explaining. "It was the proudest I'd ever been of a cast and a crew. They came together to do this huge set piece. So I'm really excited about that."

Based on the Archie comic book series of the same name, "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle, Lucy Davis as Hilda Spellman and Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman among others.
