By going to HBO's programming schedule, a fan has learned the runtimes for all final six episodes of the hit series.

AceShowbiz - As the eight and final season of "Game of Thrones" is fast approaching, fans are eager to find more details about the highly-anticipated season. By going to HBO's programming schedule, Winter Is Coming has learned the runtimes for all final six episodes of the hit series.

The site points out that the first two episodes of season 8 will run for 54 minutes and 58 minutes respectively. Just by changing the number at the end of the urls, the site later discovers the runtimes for the rest of the episodes of the show.

According to the HBO site, episode will run for a full hour. That is somewhat unsurprising since the episode allegedly will feature the upcoming spectacular battle between the death and the living in Winterfell. It is the same length as another fan-favorite episode "Battle of the Bastards" in season 6.

The discovery later suggets that the runtimes for the other 3 episodes grow bigger. Episode 804 is allegedly set to have an hour and 18 minutes in duration. However, that is not the longest episode in the season. Both the penultimate and final episode repotedly will run for an hour and 20 minutes each.

"The Dragon and the Wolf", the finale of the seventh season of "Game of Thrones", is named the longest episode of the series to date. Written by series co-creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, and directed by Jeremy Podeswa, the intense episode also ran for 80 minutes. Fans are ecstatic to learn that the upcoming eighth season will have not only one but two monster episodes.

Winter Is Coming, however, notes that those numbers can go down or even up as the production may still in the process of editing the show. But it seems like it's safe to say that this gives a pretty good picture of what to come since it more or less lines up with the alleged runtimes which were reported by French TV group Orange Cinema Series back in January.

The stars of "Game of Thrones" have been teasing what fans can expect from the new season. Slovak actor and stuntman Vladimir Furdik, who has been playing the Night King since season 6, revealed that the final season would see the Night King having "a target he wants to kill, and you will find out who that is."

Additionally, he said there would be another moment that was similar to the one in "Hardhome", when Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was on the boat and the Night King looked at him and raised his arms. "There's a similar and even stronger moment between Jon and the Night King this time," he shared to Entertainment Weekly.

"Game of Thrones" season 8 premieres on Sunday, April 14 at 9 P.M. on HBO.
