The actor playing Rush Sanders on the hit 90s teen drama passed away on March 9, just days after former castmate Luke Perry died from massive stroke.

AceShowbiz - Actor Jed Allan has died at the age of 84.

The star passed away on Saturday, March 09.

Allan began his career in American soap opera "Love of Life" and went on to appear in several other series including "Days of Our Lives", "General Hospital", "Beverly Hills, 90210", "Santa Barbara", and "The Bay", which was his last acting job in 2012.

News of his death comes a week after his former "Beverly Hills, 90210" castmate Luke Perry passed away following a stroke earlier this month.

Paying tribute to Allan, his former TV son Ian Ziering writes, "So sad to hear we've lost another 90210 castmate. I had the pleasure of working with Jed Allan from 94 to 99. He played Rush Sanders, (my character) Steve's father. Such a great guy to work with, he will be missed."
