Speaking to BBC News one day after the sad news circulated, longtime manager Keith Aspden adds that the lead singer of the rock band passed away after a short illness.

AceShowbiz - Talk Talk star Mark Hollis' longtime manager has confirmed reports the singer has died.
The news circulated on Monday, February 25, but remained unofficial until Keith Aspden spoke to BBC News on Tuesday.
"Sadly, it's true," he said. "Mark has died after a short illness from which he never recovered."
There were no further details. Hollis was 64.
The singer formed The Reaction in the late 1970s and went on to create Talk Talk. The band released it's eponymous debut single in 1982 and scored another big worldwide hit with "It's My Life" in 1984. The track became one of the most popular tunes of the 1980s and was covered by No Doubt in 2003.
Hollis and his bandmates also scored a hit in Britain in 1986 with "Life's What You Make It".
The band split after the release of the album "Laughing Stock" in 1991 and Hollis went solo, releasing a self-titled debut in 1998.
He retired from music shortly after.
