The collaborators are seen in the visuals, which is a part of a Michael Jackson tribute project, dancing in different places.

AceShowbiz - This is a global collaboration. Jason Derulo has teamed up with Chinese star Lay from EXO as well as South Korean group NCT 127 for a collaborative track titled "Let's Shut Up and Dance" in honor of Michael Jackson. The music video for the song made its way out on Thursday, February 21. It was directed by Daniel Russell with Danielle Polanco handling the choreography.

The visuals features the collaborators in different places, with Lay starting things off by showing off his moves in an alley in Seoul, while the ten-piece group chooses a shopping district as their dance floor. On the other hand, 29-year-old Jason is seen dancing in front of a convenience store and in the middle of the street.

Despite rocking their bodies at various places, all of them deliver the same choreography which evokes the mood of Michael's classics "Black or White", "Bad" and "Smooth Criminal".

"I want people to get up and dance when they see this video. A lot of the dance and movement is intricate and showcases the talent that was pulled together for this -- from Lay and NCT 127 to the amazing dancers," Jason said of the music video. "They all brought this crazy energy to each shoot -- energy that I get inspired by, they're the most incredible talents on the planet."

Written by Jason, Ant Clemons and Bong Bytheway, "Let's Shut Up and Dance" is the first single for the Michael Jackson tribute project that will celebrate the life and legacy of the King of Pop ahead of his birthday. The project also aims to unite people and encourage diversity as well as inclusivity through the late singer's music.

It is reported that Justin Bieber will also lend his voice for the project, with acclaimed director David Meyers allegedly directing the music video. Besides a four-song EP, the project will include a special concert and a feature film.
