The first Modelland flagship from the 'America's Next Top Model' host is set to open at Macerich's Santa Monica Place with expansion plans to other major cities across the country.

AceShowbiz - Tyra Banks is launching a new model-themed adventure park in California.
The "America's Next Top Model" host has been developing Modelland for over a decade and in a statement on Tuesday, February 05, the former runway regular encouraged anyone interested in breaking into the fashion industry to visit.
"This isn't just targeted at models, or model-dreamers; this is where you come as a mom or dad to bring your teenage daughter or son, host your birthday or bachelorette party, where couples come on a date," Banks said. "There will be something for everyone."
Modelland will open in Santa Monica later this year, and the star hopes to expand the venture to other cities throughout the U.S.
"Macerich's Santa Monica Place will be our inaugural flagship with strategic plans to open in other major cities across the U.S.," she adds. "And we have a robust strategy to expand globally, as well. Yes, it is indeed a franchise."
