The former 'Sex and the City' actress shared the sad news of Christopher Cattrall's passing in 2018 just hours after pleading to fans for help to locate the 55-year-old who has gone missing for days.

AceShowbiz - Actress Kim Cattrall has marked the one year anniversary of her brother's death by sharing a touching tribute.

The former "Sex and the City" star took to Instagram on Monday, February 04 to honour Christopher Cattrall, who died at the age of 55 near his home in Alberta, Canada last year (2018).

The actress shared an image of herself, Christopher and his widow Morgan Cattrall and added the caption: "Thinking of Chris today and everyday. We miss you."

A day before his death was confirmed, Cattrall took to social media to ask fans for help in locating her "one of a kind brother".

She subsequently confirmed news of his passing in an update to followers.

"It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall," she tweeted. "At this time we ask for privacy. We want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time."

Although the circumstances of his death are not entirely clear, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have noted his death does not appear to be suspicious.
