The 'Saturday Night Live' regular and the 'Lip-Sync Battle' co-host are joining comedian Jeff Foxworthy on the judging panel of the new NBC show to be hosted by 'Insecure' star Amanda Seales.

AceShowbiz - Funnyman Kenan Thompson and model-turned-TV personality Chrissy Teigen are adding talent show judges to their resume for a new comedy competition.

The "Saturday Night Live" regular and "Lip Sync Battle" co-host Chrissy, who is known for her dry humour on social media, will be joined by comedian Jeff Foxworthy for "Bring the Funny".

The reality series will feature various styles of comedy acts each trying to win over the panel of judges for the chance to score a top prize of $250,000 (£191,000).

"Insecure" star Amanda Seales has signed up to host the show, which will air on U.S. network NBC.

"Great comedians know how to make us laugh while serving as a reflection of the times, and we are excited to embrace and support the myriad of ways funny people bring us levity and humour today," NBC Alternative and Reality Group president Meredith Ahr states.

"Kenan, Chrissy, Jeff and Amanda are not only hilarious, but are pioneers in their respective arenas and understand what it takes to have longevity and breadth in this industry. They, along with our partners at Just for Laughs (comedy festival), will be an insightful resource for the talent that takes our stage."

A launch date has yet to be set.
