AceShowbiz - It's been half a year since Nicki Minaj unveiled her latest album "Queen", but she won't stop promoting the album to the world. The female emcee released the music video for the record's latest single "Hard White" on Thursday, January 31.

The eerie visuals is set in a world where all kind of evil spirits live, and Nicki is the one who rules them. Rocking an array of bejeweled crowns, the "Anaconda" hitmaker raps about her position in the hip-hop industry while an array of zombies dance around her. They are all covered in white powder, showing off how fearsome they are as Nicki continues to deliver her bars.

"My legacy could never be undone/ I'm a prodigy, R.I.P. Thun-Thun/ Got these b****s shook, they shocked, no stun-gun," she spits. "I'm the billy, billy goat, the goat, the goat's here/ Vintage Hermes by Jean Paul Gaultier/ Lagerferd customize my gold chair."

When "Queen" first made its way out in August 2018, many suspected that "Hard White" was a diss track aimed at Nicki's nemesis Cardi B. This was particularly due to the lyrics, "I ain't never played the h*e position, I ain't never have to strip to get to pole position." As some might already know, Cardi used to be a stripper before becoming a rapper.

However, Nicki has since debunked the speculation, explaining that the song was recorded in early 2017, prior to the public feud.

Meanwhile, producer !llmind previously talked about how the song was created in an interview. Recalling working on a few beats with Boi-1da, he said, "He sent it over to Nicki and she used it and it came out crazy. I wasn't able to be in the studio when she did it, but I know it was coming out at some point. It's funny because the original title of the track was different. It wasn't 'Hard White'. It was called 'Half Back'."
