AceShowbiz - Alexa Curtin kicked off 2019 with trouble. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" alum was arrested by the Irvine Police Department on January 5 for drug possession again, nearly a year after she was charged for a similar offense.

According to The Blast, Alexa was busted on January 5 for possession of Xanax and drug paraphernalia. She was booked into Orange County Jail where she spent one night, before she was released the next day at 11:33 A.M. after posting bond.

Days later, the former reality TV star, whose IMDB bio also lists her as an actress, was formally charged with two misdemeanor drug charges, possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance drug paraphernalia.

The 26-year-old, who is the daughter of former "RHOC" main cast member Lynne Curtin and her ex-husband Frank Curtin, listed her occupation as "unemployed" when being booked. She is scheduled to appear in court in March for these charges.

This is the latest of Alexa's run-in with the law after she was arrested for multiple criminal cases in the past years. She was previously charged with two misdemeanors after being allegedly found with drugs in her car in June 2016. Last February, she was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found items allegedly used to smoke heroin. She was also charged with driving under the influence in April from an incident back on June 6, 2017.

Later in August of the same year, she spent four days behind bars for the three separate criminal cases filed against her, which were possession of a controlled substance paraphernalia, vandalism, petty theft and driving under the influence of a drug. In October of 2018, a judge issued an arrest warrant for Alexa after she failed to show up for a court hearing related to her three separate criminal cases.
