AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Shamari Fears was hit with cheating allegations. The TV personality, who is now marrying Ronnie Devoe, was rumored to be cheating on her first husband with Ronnie. Surprisingly, the allegations come from none other than Ronnie's family.
MTO News reports that a Ronnie family member accusses Shamari of hiding a lot of secrets in her past, including the fact that she was actually married another man when she started dating Ronnie.
The lead singer from R&B group Blaque and Ronnie met in 2001 at the MTV's Icon Award ceremony for Janet Jackson. At that time, Shamari's group was fresh off of their successful debut album, while Bell Biv DeVoe was preparing another album. Shamari and the group later collaborated for one of the tracks in the album which was released later that year.
According to the new report, Ronnie approached Shamari when he was in the club with his pal Bobby Brown. However, the insider claimed that Shamari was married to another man at that time, noting that "Ronnie is her SECOND husband."
Of Shamari's alleged first marriage, the insider said, "She first married when she got out of high school." In addition to calling the reality TV star a "user" and "manipulator," the family member accused her of having lot of secrets in her past that she's been keeping under wraps tightly.
Shamari and the member of New Edition got married in 2006. The couple shares twin boys, Ronald and Roman, who were born in 2017.
Last month, Shamari revealed that their marriage used to be on the brink of a divorce as she was interested in exploring sexual relationships with other women. The two then came to an agreement that they could date/have sex with other people. Their open marriage lasted about a year before Shamari decided for them to become a monogamous couple again.
