AceShowbiz - Soulja Boy receives a lot of prayers and support from fans after he suffered a "very bad" car accident over the weekend. The 28-year-old rapper was among the victims of dangerous mudslides and floods in Southern California as his car was trapped by the mudslides.
"Was involved in a very bad car accident last night due to a flash flood and mud slide," he tweeted early Sunday, January 6 before retweeting a photo of the mudslides in Malibu, California. "My car got stuck too almost went into the ocean," Soulja added along with a prayer emoji.

Hours later, he shared an update of his car to his followers, explaining that he still hadn't got his car and that it's still "stuck in the water in the middle of the mud slide/flood." However, he didn't seem too bothered by the loss of his car as he said on Instagram, "I'm just thankful to be alive, I don't care about the car it's materialistic, you can't take it when you're gone."
He further expressed his gratefulness to have survived the accident by tweeting, "Thank God for another day, with new opportunities & blessings," though he did note his face was "all swollen and s**t."
Rainfall in Southern California this weekend triggered an onslaught of mudslides and flash flooding across the area. According to The Los Angeles Times, the accident caused drivers to be trapped in their vehicles and shut down parts of the Pacific Coast Highway. The burn areas of the Woolsey Fire, one of the large wildfires that terrorized the state last fall, are especially at risk.
The City of Malibu urged residents to be more cautious in a post on their website, "Residents and motorists should be extra cautious and watch for mud, rocks and other debris in roadways, particularly in canyons and the burn areas." Residents are also being warned of potential power outages and flooding.
