The 92-year-old monarch is also said to have 'reached her limit with all the drama' between the feuding sister-in-laws.

AceShowbiz - Queen Elizabeth II may be the person behind the reconciliation between allegedly feuding sister-in-laws Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton. The two young royals appeared to be friendly to each other while attending Christmas service at Sandringham Church.

Looking at them smiling at each other at the event, the Queen reportedly couldn't be happier. "She'd reached her limit with all the drama," a source said to Us Weekly of the 92-year-old monarch. "She desperately wanted Meghan and Kate to make up and she got her wish!"

Back in November, it was reported that there was a brewing tension between the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex. The tension allegedly led Prince Harry and his pregnant wife to move out of their and Prince William's family's shared Kensington Palace in London to Windsor.

However, things are said to be going for the better after the two families spent Christmas together at Sandringham House in Norfolk, England. "Being under the same roof meant that they couldn't avoid each other," a source claims.

The Sun further reports that Kate and Meghan actively enjoyed one another's company over a game of Scrabble. "They were chuckling along together," a source reveals the British outlet. "You wouldn't know there was any tension between the two. It was a wonderful day and night."

"If German and British troops could put their differences to one side to play football during World War One, the feeling was Kate and Meghan could follow suit for Scrabble," the insider adds.

Previously, Kate also shared her excitement for the arrival of Meghan's unborn baby with Prince Harry. When fan asked if she was excited for Meghan's upcoming baby, the 36-year-old royal happily said, "Yeah, absolutely." She continued saying, "It's such a special time to have little kiddies, and a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis. It's really special."
