AceShowbiz - Former Disney Channel actor Stoney Westmoreland has got additional charges after he was arrested for allegedly trying to have sex with a 13-year-old boy. He is now charged with six felony counts, including attempted exploitation of a minor and enticing a minor.

The 48-year-old actor was arrested on December 13 when he was on his way to meet the teen boy. Authorities got a lead on Stoney's illegal activities after he joined the dating app Grindr and found a profile operated by a police detective in Salt Lake City.

According to police, Stoney acknowledged the boy he was speaking with was 13 years old. While chatting with the teen, he sent over explicit photos and asked the boy to send nude photos in return, authorities said.

On they day he was arrested, he reportedly took a ridesharing service to meet the boy to take him back to his hotel room. He was initially charged with four counts of dealing in materials harmful to a minor and one count of enticing a minor by Internet or text.

A $100,000 warrant was issued for Stoney, who had previously bailed out of the Salt Lake County jail. He was deemed a low risk to public safety and a new court date has not been immediately set.

Following his arrest, Disney Channel fired the actor from popular teen show "Andi Mack", on which he played grandfather Henry "Ham" Mack. "Given the nature of the charges and our responsibility for the welfare of employed minors, we have released him from his recurring role and he will not be returning to work on the series which wraps production on its third season next week," a spokesperson for the network said in a statement.
