The 'All the Way Up' rapper is given more time to submit documents in the dispute as she's still recovering after giving birth to her daughter and undergoing emergency surgery.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Remy Ma has reportedly been granted a request for more time to turn over documents in her legal battle with Tamar Braxton's estranged husband Vincent Herbert.

The "All the Way Up" hitmaker fired her former manager, Herbert, earlier this year, and she's now embroiled in a dispute with him and bosses at LDNX Records. Herbert allegedly owes executives $380,000 (£297,500), and they have requested information about projects Remy and Vincent worked on together, and any money he is owed for their collaborations. A judge also ordered the rapper to pay Herbert any money she owes him.

Executives won a judgment against Herbert in 2017 and are trying to collect from his work with Remy, Lady GaGa, and others.

Last month, Remy, real name Reminisce Mackie, was found in contempt of court and given 30 days to comply or she will face sanctions. However according to The Blast, Mackie's lawyer has since gotten in touch with record label bosses and requested for the deadline to be pushed back to 31 January (19) to give her time to recover from delivering her new daughter, who was born last week, ends December 14, and subsequent emergency surgery.

"Remy is recovering in the hospital from a blood transfusion due to childbirth complications," a representative for the rapper said about the surgery. "She will be released in a day or so and is ecstatic about the birth of her healthy baby girl."

Remy's request has been granted.
