The former Nickelodeon star debuts her new tats in a photo which serves as a teaser for her highly-anticipated 'Thank U, Next' music video.

AceShowbiz - Even though Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are not romantically linked anymore, some things apparently just don't change for them. Known for getting numerous matching tattoos back when they were still a couple, the exes apparently got themselves another matching one after they broke up a few months ago.

For fans who think that it might be a sign for them to reconcile, don't get your hopes up. The new matching ink might be purely coincidental because they covered the tattoos which were inspired by their romance. Pete previously covered up a tattoo of her signature bunny ears with a large black heart. And now it appears his ex-fiancee did similar things.

She recently shared a new look at her highly-anticipated music video for "Thank U, Next", but one particular thing appeared to catch people's attention. Ariana sported an eerily similar black heart tats on her finger, where a tiny tattoo of the "Saturday Night Live" star's name was once inked. Before she got the new tats, she usually used a bandage to hide the "Pete" ink.

In the wake of her split from Pete, Ariana is known for using black hearts on social media. When one fan asked her is the heart had any special meaning, the newly single brunette beauty responded, "I'm empty and my heart is black now so."

Ariana and Pete called off their engagement in early October following a whirlwind summer romance. The two have been covering a bunch of tattoos which were inspired by their relationship following the split, and the 24-year-old comedian wasn't shy to talk about it during his standup gig.

"Well, as you could tell, I don't want to be here. There's a lot going on. Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?" he jokingly told the crowd, clearly referencing his split. "Um, I've been covering a bunch of tattoos, that's fun. I'm f***ing 0 for 2 in the tattoo [department]. Yeah, I'm afraid to get my mom tattooed on me, that's how bad it is."
