AceShowbiz - It looks like the wait will finally be over for Rihanna fans who are waiting for her new music. The Barbadian singer causes social media frenzy when it is revealed that she has registered copyright for two new songs.
The songs are titled "Waist Line Down" and "Nah Left", which are both produced and written by Inconnu Compositeur Auteur and Plummer Simon David. It has yet to be revealed when the two songs will be released, but BMI Platinum Songs U.S. has been named as the publishers of both songs. Representatives for Rihanna have not commented on the revelation.
Fans are understandably hyped over this, with many speculating that her new album will be coming soon. "queen is coming to save the industry we stan !" one fan excitedly claims. Some others are looking forward to hear the full version of "Nah Left" as one individual already dubs it "iconic." One other, meanwhile, thinks that the theme of the song may be similar to Ariana Grande's mega hit "Thank U, Next".
Prior to this, Rihanna seemingly teased that she was gearing up to release new music by posting on Instagram Stories a silent video of her dancing in a studio. Fans believe the songstress was listening to a new track off her upcoming ninth studio album.
Details regarding her album are still very scarce, but report previously suggested that it would be a double album with one dancehall record and one pop record. The former is an ode to her Carribean roots and aims to further embed dancehall's gyrating sound into the American pop music market. It reportedly has been in the works for almost a year and a half. Meanwhile, her pop album will include today's top hitmakers such as Boi-1da and Skrillex.
