AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian and Kanye West really have a heart of gold. While celebrities continue to encourage donations and deliver supplies themselves, the power couple reportedly took it one step further in order to make sure that everyone in their neighborhood would not lose their homes to the the raging Woolsey fire.
According to TMZ, Kim and Kanye hired a private team of firefighters to help them save their entire block. As for why they decide to do that, it is because they live on the corner of their neighborhood. Thus, if their house were to catch on fire, it would cause a "domino" effect that could destroy the whole area.
Sources close to the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star told the publication that the team was armed with hoses in addition to tirelessly digging ditches to help stop the fire from spreading. Thanks to their hardwork, the entire block was ultimately saved from the fire and their neighbors couldn't be more grateful enough and praised the couple for their heroic deed.
Kim addressed the California wildfire when she took the stage at the 2018 People's Choice Awards to accept Reality Show of 2018, urging others to help victims and firefighters who is risking their lives to battle the flame.
"Action is necessary, so anything that we can do to help, as simple as donating to the many organizations that are collecting supplies, not form of help is too small," she said. "Our country is stronger when we come together and we cannot face devastation alone. We must continue to reach out and help each other in these trying times."
In related news, Kim recently opened up about her opinion on her husband's smell in an interview with The Cut. When asked about the matter, she said, "I can't explain it, but like a rich person. Like... money, I don't know! He smells like what you think a really expensive, Saint Laurent fragrance would be."
