AceShowbiz - Fans of "Modern Family" were shocked when it was revealed that Haley Dunphy was pregnant. Not giving fans a moment to get through the shock, actress Sarah Hyland takes to her Instagram account to give a better look at her character's baby bump.
The 27-year-old shares a mirror selfie of her in a nude bra and jeans. She poses sideways, putting her faux bump on full display. "Well I guess the cat's outta the bag!!!" she captioned the snap. “Or more like the bump's outta the shirt!….. that was a horrible joke. I apologize."
In the Wednesday, November 7 episode, titled "Did the Chicken Cross the Road?", of the long-running ABC comedy show's current season 10, Sarah's Haley was revealed to be pregnant after having a literally bumpy accident.
Haley and Dylan (Reid Ewing) decided to go to a carnival and drive the bumper cars in order to prove that they are both mature adults as Haley was previously accused of having Peter Pan syndrome. However, Dylan bumped into Haley's car as she's putting on her lipstick. That caused the tube to get stuck up her nose, leading to them to the hospital, where Haley learned that she's actually having a bun in the oven.
Prior to the episode, Sarah did hint at her character's pregnancy. Taking to Instagram, she posted a photo of her on a bumper car. "Buckle up for tonight's brand new episode of @abcmodernfam guys. It's gonna be a BUMPY ride!" she wrote in the caption.
