The conservative television and radio talk show host mocks the 'Shake It Off' singer, who has openly supported former Gov. Phil Bredesen, after Rep. Marsha Blackburn wins in Tennessee Senate race.

AceShowbiz - Laura Ingraham is celebrating Rep. Marsha Blackburn's win in Tennessee Senate race by shading Taylor Swift, who has openly supported Democratic Senate candidate Phil Bredesen. After the results of the midterm elections were revealed, she took to Twitter to write, "Hey @taylorswift13, haters gonna hate. #shakeitoff."

Many fellow Republican supporters are liking her tweet, with some calling it the "best tweet of the night." Another further insults Taylor as writing, "In other words the good people of Tennessee are smarter than an air headed pop singer."

However, not a few of Laura's followers have criticized the conservative television and radio talk show host for her "childish" remark. Comedian Michael Rapaport is one of them. He replies to Laura's tweet, "You would ask he for a selfie if you met her. Yo who does your BoTox Laura? Dial it down. You can't open your mouth. Your grill is Frozen."

Another shames Laura for mocking Taylor whose intention was to urge people to vote. "Laura, Taylor may have indicated how she'd be voting, but the point of her posts were to urge people to get out and vote. The point of your posts are to be s***ty to others that don't share your views," the Twitter user blasts her. "That makes you a s***ty piece of garbage. Hi, garbage!"

Another also defends the former country-turned-pop superstar, "I'm sure @taylorswift13 will take the high road and not go out and bash anyone who voted against who she voted for. That, @IngrahamAngle is what you call class. Unfortunately, some people weren't born with it like @taylorswift13 was. You should look into it."

"How childish of you, Laura. Its moments like these that show why we need the change so many people desperately voted for," reads another comment, while one other adds, "Your maturity level is astounding!"

Others similarly write, "She expressed who she was voting for. Get over it," and, "So now we're mocking people who have their own beliefs/opinions and encouraged people to get out and vote? #gottaloveamerica #stayclassy."

Taylor herself has not responded to Laura's remark about her. Earlier on Tuesday, November 6, she made a final plea to her young fans to vote. "It's not enough to just want change," she said in an Instagram video, "It's not enough to just want to vote. You have to go and make change by voting."
