Elsewhere during the award-giving show, Halsey, Janet Jackson and host Hailee Steinfeld also grace the stage with their own performances.

AceShowbiz - There were many memorable performances at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards which was held at Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Spain on Sunday, November 4. And Panic at the Disco's set at the award-giving show was definitely one to remember.

Delivering a rendition of "High Hopes", frontman Brendon Urie kicked off the set by scaling the side of the venue before greeting the audience from the ceiling and completed the performance on the ground. "Mama said, fulfill the prophecy/ Be something great, go make a legacy. Manifest destiny back in the days," he sang. "We wanted everything, wanted everything."

Elsewhere during the event, Halsey debuted live performance of her new single "Without Me" while being chained inside a glass cage. She was only able to free herself from both the chain and cage towards the end of the set, with rain pouring down on her as she kept showing off the power in her vulnerability.

Not only serving as the host of the event, but also Hailee Steinfeld entertained the audience with a performance of her contribution to "Bumblebee" soundtrack, "Back to Life". Staying true to the movie, her backup dancers gathered in a car formation before spreading out to make it look like they were the car robot.

Hailee herself didn't disappoint during the performance, belting out the song without missing a single beat. At one point, she took off her furry chartreuse jacket to reveal a sexy black bodysuit. She concluded the show with a small fireworks show.

An award show won't be complete without a medley performance, and Janet Jackson was there to do the honor. The Global Icon honoree kicked off the medley of her hit singles with a rendition of her latest song "Made for Now" featuring Daddy Yankee before launching into her 2001 classic "All for You". She wrapped it up with a sizzling performance of "Rhythm Nation".
