AceShowbiz - Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis lost his cool at a basketball game in Los Angeles on Saturday night (October 21) and needed a time out from security staff.
The rocker was courtside cheering on the Los Angeles Lakers in their game against the Houston Rockets when he took exception to visiting player Chris Paul.
Kiedis started screaming at Paul, prompting a Rockets official to ask the singer to calm down, but he was too upset.
AK (Anthony Kiedis) from Red Hot Chilie Peppers should of gotten kicked out the game for yelling profanities and flipping the bird to Chris Paul and the #Rockets staff. This is unacceptable @Lakers if this was a regular joe/fan he would of got kicked out the building. #NBApic.twitter.com/ntSAGhlNku

According to video footage posted online, security staff had to intervene and walk Kiedis away from his seat.
Reports suggest he was allowed to return after cooling off.
The rock star's outburst came immediately after an on-court brawl between the two teams, which resulted in three players being suspended.
After the game, Kiedis' bandmate Flea shared a picture of the two rockers at the game on Instagram and added the caption: "At the lakers game last night with my dear brother. It (got) crazy at the end, but man I get so satisfied, deeply drinking in the depth and beauty of the game."
"People operating at a high level in so many dimensions. Cerebral, physical, spiritual, emotional, unspoken and telepathic communication. I truly love basketball...."
