After having fun shopping with her friends in New York, the songstress posts a cryptic message which read, 'Protect your peace, get rid of toxicity, cleanse your space, cultivate love.'

AceShowbiz - While Pete Davidson is returning to work after his split from Ariana Grande, the latter is enjoying quality time with her family and friends. The former Nickelodeon star was seen going shopping with some of her friends in New York City on Sunday, October 21.

Ariana clearly wanted people to look at her during the outing, oozing glamor in a giant white parka, gray pants and Christian Loubtouin pointed-toe boots. She accessorized her look with a pair of big white earrings and diamond necklace, in addition to trading her iconic high ponytail for a top bun.

As if the giant white parka wasn't enough to hide her petite figure, she was holding two big Chanel shopping bags as she walked down the street of the Big Apple. Clearly having a good time, she was snapped looking at the window of some retail shops on the streets.

She then took to Instagram Stories to show off what she bought during the outing, also posting a cryptic message which read, "Protect your peace, get rid of toxicity, cleanse your space, cultivate love."

Ariana Grande posts a cryptic message after going shopping with her friends.

It arrives after Pete broke his silence on their breakup during a stand-up gig for the "Judd & Pete for America" benefit in West Hollywood over the weekend. "When me and her first got engaged, we got tattoos, and it was, like, in a magazine like, 'Was Pete Davidson stupid?' And 93 percent of it said yes (sic)," he joked. "So my boy, he was like, 'Don't listen to that s**t man, they're literally f***ing haters! And I'm like, 'Yeah, f**k that. I'm not stupid.' "

The "Saturday Night Live" star continued, "The other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, 'Yo bro, turns out you were stupid!' I'm a good guy that just keeps getting kicked in the d**k. You're like, 'Ah, that f**ing poor kid. Hope he doesn't kill himself!' "
