While the band rocked the stage of American Music Awards with their fiery set, some people have accused the pop diva of lip syncing for showing flawless vocal.

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey was one of the biggest stars who performed at the currently ongoing 2018 American Music Awards. Taking the stage in a body-hugging, pink satin dress with sparkly black embellishments, she debuted new single "With You".

Joined by some shirtless male backup dancers that complemented the sultry song, the former "American Idol" judge showed off her impressive vocal range and nailed the high notes. While the audience gave her a round of applause, some people couldn't help wondering if she got a prerecorded vocal take.

"Mariah Carey, still lip syncing like a pro #AMAs," one accused Mariah.

"It's 2018 and people are still mad at Mariah lip syncing... gurl please!!" read a similar tweet.

Another suggested event organizers to stop booking Mariah and Britney Spears as performers at such music shows. "Mariah still lip syncing? stop inviting her and Britney to these events when they don't sing live #AMAs," the Twitter user wrote.

Also performing at the AMAs, Twenty One Pilots rocked the crowd with a powerful rendition of their track "Jumpsuit". The literally set the stage on fire as a prop car that was placed behind the duo was burned during the performance.

The "Heathens" hitmaker was also showered with yellow lights, before the stage turned dark toward the end of the performance. Fire fountains were lit up at the song's climax while the audience got on their feet.
