In a string of Instagram comments that has since been deleted, the Limp Bizkit turntablist calls the failed attack 'most desperate #fail of all time', and insinuates his regret of being a fan.

AceShowbiz - Limp Bizkit turntablist DJ Lethal has slammed Insane Clown Posse rocker Shaggy 2 Dope for trying to attack his bandmate Fred Durst during a gig.

Durst and Lethal's band were performing at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey for the Rock Allegiance festival on Saturday, October 06, when Shaggy, real name Joseph William Utsler, stormed the stage and attempted to dropkick the "Break Stuff" hitmaker.

Editors at metal website The PRP captured a since deleted screenshot from DJ Lethal's Instagram in which the rocker, real name Leor Dimant, called the stage invasion a pathetic publicity stunt.

"Bro step up!! Man to man. No suckerstage rushing 'I'm gonna get on (gossip website) TMZ,'" he wrote, before adding: "Most desperate #fail of all time!!!! And to think I was a fan til today. You b**chmade G, f**k you!!!!"

Footage of the incident shows Shaggy failing to make significant contact with Durst and falling on his back before being led away by security staff.

At the time the Limp Bizkit frontman then said, "What a p**sy, he couldn't even pull it off."

It is unclear what motivated the stage invasion but the feud between the groups reportedly dates back to 1999 - when Insane Clown Posse were dropped from the line-up of the Family Values metal and rap tour, which was headlined by Limp Bizkit.
