AceShowbiz - Less than six months after releasing his album "Ye", Kanye West apparently has another album coming soon. The hip-hop mogul caused social media frenzy when he shared on Instagram on Monday, September 17 a picture of a CD cover.
The picture in question featured a blank CD in a plain jewel case with a purple sticker on it. The cover definitely bore a striking resemblance to his hit album "Yeezus", prompting people to speculate that Kanye would be releasing a sequel to the set.
He then deleted the picture and posted a new one with the same art. The only difference was that he seemingly announced that the album would be titled "Yandhi" and it would hit the stores on September 29. He left the picture captionless.
Fans quickly flooded the comment section of the post with messages showing how excited they were for the new album. "DUDE THIS COMES OUT ON MY BIRTHDAY," one excited user wrote, while another added, "BLESS MY EARS KING." One other said that Kanye "just talked with Jesus and gave us a blessing." On the other hand, one user believed that the album would "be great" even though it had not been released.
"Yeezus" is Kanye's sixth studio which was released on June 18, 2013. It received widespread acclaim from music critics, with many dubbing it one of his best works. Complex and Entertainment Weekly even named it the best album of the year. The effort debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 and topped music charts in 30 countries, including the United Kingdom and Australia. It was additionally nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards.
