AceShowbiz - Another possible detail of "Avengers 4" has been revealed while Marvel Studios still keeps the official cast and synopsis under tight wraps. The latest tidbit was obtained through a cast photo which surfaced over the weekend while the movie is still reshooting.
The cast and crew recently gathered for the opening of Simone, a restaurant which director Joe Russo co-owns. One familiar face unexpectedly showed up in the picture and he's none other than "Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi.
The helmer had a small, but significant role in the third "Thor" movie, playing Korg the Kronan, who led the gladiators' revolution against the Grandmaster. This leads to a speculation that Waititi may reprise his role as the rock-skinned character in the "Avengers: Infinity War" sequel.
Also featured in the photo are cast members Chris Evans, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan and Marisa Tomei. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige as well as Russo himself were also seen with the stars. Meanwhile, Yvette Nicole Brown was likely present to show her support for Russo, who co-executive produced her show "Community".
Prior to the surface of the cast photo, Evans, Johansson and Paul Rudd were spotted on the set in Atlanta, Georgia last week to film scenes for the highly-anticipated movie. The Captain America depicter looked different with his clean-shaven face after sporting longer hair and a full beard in the previous installment.
Meanwhile, Johansson's Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow, who rocked blonde shorter do in "Infinity War", seems to have grown her hair back in the upcoming movie. She was spotted on the set having longer hair and back to Natasha's darker hair color, with the remaining of the blonde fading out in the tips.
Mark Ruffalo, who is expected to return as Brune Banner a.k.a. the Hulk, recently said the reshoots would finish the movie. "We're not just doing reshoots, we're going to finish the movie, which we really didn't get to finish totally when we left it last year," he said in an episode of The Marvelists podcast.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the still-untitled "Avengers" movie is set for a May 3, 2019 release in the U.S.
