The British actress has been recruited to read the original non-fiction audiobook 'Harry Potter: A History of Magic'.

AceShowbiz - Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer has landed double duty as a Harry Potter narrator.

The British actress has been recruited to read the original non-fiction audiobook Harry Potter: A History of Magic for Audible and lead a new exhibition and audio tour all about the boy wizard's world at the New York Historical Society.

Dormer joins The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln and Fantastic Beasts... star Eddie Redmayne, who have previously narrated Potter projects, and she admits studying up for the new role gave her a new insight into author J.K. Rowling wonderful world.

"I've always adored the Harry Potter books, but it wasn't until I started speaking with the British Library's curators, hearing about the various myths, legends and cultures that have helped shape the wizarding world, that I really began to appreciate the richness and depth of J. K. Rowling's writing," the actress says.

"There are so many wonderful details to explore and A History of Magic unearths some remarkable gems of information that are sure to have listeners awestruck. It's been fun to join the Wizarding World family."

Both new Potter projects will be unveiled to fans on 4 October.
