According to onlookers, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge 'were there for the cocktails segment and kept it rather classy.'

AceShowbiz - Even Prince William and Kate Middleton need a break from their royal duties. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been spending their summer vacation in Mustique along with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. When not taking care of the kids, the royal couple enjoys some quality time for themselves.

William and Kate were spotted attending a party at the famous Basil's Bar which was also attended by Mick Jagger and his daughter Jade. Onlookers revealed to Hello! that the couple attended "on the early side" of the party and looked to be having a great time.

Witnesses also revealed that the pair looked "island chic," with William opting for a Pinkhouse Mustique shirt to support local brand. "They were there for the cocktails segment and kept it rather classy," they told the gossip site.

Kate and William started their summer holiday early as George and Charlotte are both on a break from school until early September. During their stay in the island, the family of five was joined by Kate's parents and likely enjoyed tennis, scuba-diving and swimming.

They are also likely to spend much of their time at their country home, Anmer Hall, rather than Kensington Palace in London. There, they can live a more relaxed life, heading to the nearby beaches, paddling or taking trips to local parks and cafes.

This is the first time they spend summer holiday together as a family of five. Kate gave birth to Prince Louis on April 23 and had offered a glimpse into her new family life. "Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish," the Duchess wrote in a heartwarming letter to mark Children's Hospice Week.
