AceShowbiz - "Marvel's Iron Fist" has unearthed its new season 2 teaser for viewing pleasure. The new footage seemingly hints that the upcoming sophomore season of the Netflix series will see Danny Rand a.k.a. Iron Fist in his classic comic costume.
Titled "Memories", the teaser sees Danny (Finn Jones) and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) walking down the street of New York together while the former is rather disturbed with some fractions of memories coming up on his mind. Every little things that happen in front of him somehow reminds him of his "bad memories" in which he has a match with Davos (Sacha Dhawan) in K'un Lun.
During the match, Danny and Davos can be seen donning yellow handkerchiefs on their heads with eyeholes cut out. The yellow mask resembles the one that Iron Fist wears alongside the green suit that comic fans may find familiar. They later are seen abandoning the yellow fabric as their battle turns into a bloody one. Things don't seem go well as Davos angrily throws a big punch on Danny before the screen cuts to black.
According to the official synopsis, season 2 of the Netflix series will follow the titular character "as he fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist." Fans speculate that the hero will suit up in the character's iconic yellow-and-green costume in the new season.
Alongside Jones and Henwick, the sophomore season will star Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Simone Misick as Misty Knighy, Alice Eve as Mary Walker, and Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum.
Season 2 of "Marvel's Iron Fist" is slated to premiere on September 7 on Netflix.
