In the footage which airs on 'The Late Late Show', the actor shows the TV host how it feels like to do the extreme action like he did in 'Mission: Impossible - Fallout'.

AceShowbiz - Tom Cruise discussed his new movie "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on July 23. During the show, Tom dared James Corden to go skydiving with him from 15,000 feet just like what he did in the movie. James accepted the extreme challenge, which took place in Perris Valley, California.

In the video which was shown in the July 26 episode of the talk show, the British host admitted that he was scared even before it started. "I'm here and I'm terrified," he told the actor when they met at the location. "Are we genuinely doing this?" On the other hand, Tom looked excited. "I'm just amazed you're here," he said after shaking the comedian's hand. "This is great, we're gonna do this."

James admitted that he was going to cancel the plan. "I've actually been trying to get a hold of Tom for the last couple of days to cancel, but apparently I had his number saved wrong in my phone," he told the camera. "So, I'd also like to take this time to apologize to Tom Hiddleston for all the messages I sent him about my case of food poisoning."

Tom then explained that they would be in the plane for 15 minutes before they jumped. The 56-year-old actor also taught the "Into the Woods" star how to arch during the free fall. "If we both die, I would get zero press," James told Tom after their practice. "The story would be 'Tom Cruise dies.' " While laughing, Tom tried to cheer up his friend, "I feel very confident that this is something that we'll never forget."

Afterward, the two were seen donning skydiving suits and walking at the airport with dramatic background sound. After they hopped in the plane, both Tom and James hummed "Mission: Impossible" famous theme song. Not too long after that, Tom prepared to jump alone, while James had a skydiving guide strapped on his back. After they jumped, the TV host seemed to be more relaxed than before, while "The Mummy" actor fearlessly moved his body around during the free fall.

Tom previously decided to challenge James after the funnyman pretended to be unimpressed by his action in the new movie. "I thought it was meh. You say jumped, it's falling through the sky," James quipped during the Wednesday show. "I think we're all getting carried away with the 'Tom Cruise action hero' thing."
