Ryan, who is allegedly being held in the Hamilton County Jail without bond, is scheduled to appear in court on August 6.

AceShowbiz - Just days after announcing that he and Mackenzie Edwards wouldn't be returning to MTV's "Teen Mom", Ryan Edwards has been arrested again. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, the 30-year-old reality TV star was arrested on Monday, July 23 in Red Bank, Tennessee.

Maci Bookout's ex was arrested on charges of simple possesion of heroin. Red Bank Police Department was unable to provide more details about Ryan's arrest. However, it was reported that he is currently being held in the Hamilton County Jail without bond. Ryan is scheduled to appear in court on August 6, The Ashley reported.

MTV has yet to comment on the matter.

This is hardly the first time for Ryan to be involved in heroin-related issue. Back in March, he was arrested for violating terms of his probation stemming from a prior heroin possession charge. The arrest arrived after it was revealed on "Teen Mom" that he and wife Mackenzie are expecting their first child together.

The pair, who secretly tied the knot in June before Edward headed to rehab, announced their exit from the MTV show on Friday, July 20. They explained that they made the decision because "the network told us they don't want to show Ryan as a recovering addict." Mackenzie added, "They did want to enter a contract with our unborn baby and have the baby film with Ryan's parents so it would look like someone else is raising it."

Ryan said, "They also want to take Maci's word on how I'm doing. Maci's said she's not going to film unless I enter rehab again and quit the show. But I'm sober."

"Don't take everything you see on MTV as factual truth," Ryan wrote on Instagram. "They don't want to show me or Mack in a happy light or that I am active in my recovery. I AM. They want me to look angry, passive aggressive and uncaring regarding things that mean the most to me."
