The grainy photo teases a happy moment between Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson).

AceShowbiz - "This Is Us" cast and crew are back to work to film season 3. Production on the new season officially began on Tuesday, July 10 and creator Dan Fogelman marked it by sharing a photo from the first scene of the next installment.

Featured in the image are Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson). It seems that they have breakfast in the kitchen as orange juice is served on the table. And judging from their expressions, it's a happy moment for the couple.

"First scene up, Season 3 baby!!! #ThisIsUs," Fogelman captioned it.

Brown retweeted the post and wrote along with it, "'Twas a good day! #ThisIsUs." Fogelman tweeted back to Brown, "Loved watching you guys back at work today my friend. It's a treat to watch you do your thing. My TV fam is world class."

Mandy Moore, who plays the Pearson matriarch, was also excited though she wasn't featured in the scene. "Biggest smile on my face! Love our fam!! #pearsonpride #thisisus," she wrote while sharing the same photo on her own Twitter account.

Watson, meanwhile, took to Instagram to share an on-set video with her co-star Brown. In the funny clip, she and Brown got off a golf cart and began dancing and twerking as part of the #InMyFeelingsChallenge. "Feelin’ all kinds of things on our first day back!! #ThisIsUs #InMyFeelingsChallenge #DoTheShiggy #OneTakeBetweenScenes," she captioned it.

Faithe Herman, who plays Randall and Beth's younger daughter Annie Pearson, additionally shared her photo with her on-screen sister Eris Baker (Tess) and Lyric Ross, who plays Randall and Beth's foster child Deja.

"This Is Us" returns with the new season starting Tuesday, September 25 at 9 P.M. on NBC. Fogelman previously said that the show would reveal more of Beth's backstory in season 3. "We have some stuff coming for Beth right away early in season three where you really learn about her and where she comes from and what her background is that I think is going to be really exciting for the audience," he teased.

Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia) will also return despite the show showing his death in season 2. The new season will explore his days as a soldier during the Vietnam War. "We're definitely going to see Jack in the Vietnam era," the actor shared. "At the end of the Super Bowl episode when people were ultimately confronted with how he passed away, there was a trailer to show Jack in a helicopter over Vietnam in uniform. We're going to explore that side of Jack's 20s and what brought him into the man that we all knew."
