AceShowbiz - Rapper Mozzy has reportedly been arrested for gun possession.

A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Police Department told editors at TMZ Mozzy, real name Timothy Patterson, was pulled over on Thursday night (July 05) after he failed to signal during a lane change.

Following an inspection of his vehicle, the 31-year-old was found to be in possession of a loaded Glock pistol, which police reportedly found in a black book bag.

The hip-hop artist, who was allegedly driving a black Maserati without license plates at the time, also failed to produce a valid driver's license on request.

Mozzy was arrested by the Sacramento Police three times between 2005 and 2008 for possession crimes, including illegal possession of a firearm and evading police.

In 2014, he served a sentence in San Quentin State Prison after being convicted for gun possession and possession of a controlled substance.

He's now facing a charge for gun possession by a prohibited person. According to TMZ, he was released after posting a $5,000 (£3,750) bail.
