AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner kicked off her Independence Day celebrations a day early by wishing her chickens a happy birthday.
The actress posted a snap of herself proudly posing with her poultry after presenting them with a big cake.
She added the caption: "It's hard to believe a year has flown by since these ladies hatched. They grow up so quickly. #happyhatchday #bugcakeforyou #soyouthinkyoucanfarm."
The self-sufficient mum-of-three also has a bee hive and grows organic fruit and vegetables.
The birthday bash on Tuesday was tinged with sadness as Jennifer lost her favourite bird, Regina George, earlier this year (March 2018).
The Dallas Buyers Club star often shared photos of the chicken, who was named after Rachel McAdams' Mean Girls character, and enjoyed taking her for walks around the neighbourhood.
