When asked about the experience during the filming in a recent interview, Pearce alludes that the disgraced Oscar winner had crossed a line.

AceShowbiz - Guy Pearce has described Kevin Spacey as being "handsy" on the set of their movie "L.A. Confidential".

Curtis Hanson's 1997 neo-noir crime film, which also starred Russell Crowe, Kim Basinger and Danny DeVito, received critical acclaim upon release, receiving nine Academy Award nominations and winning two.

Pearce and Spacey both played detectives in the movie and were required to work in close proximity, but when the Australian actor was asked about the experience during a recent interview about his new album, he alluded that the disgraced Oscar winner had crossed a line.

"Yeah ... yeah. Tough one to talk about at the moment," he hesitated in an chat with Andrew Denton on the Australian talk show Interview. "Amazing actor; incredible actor. Mmm. Slightly difficult time with Kevin, yeah. He's a handsy guy.

"Thankfully, I was 29 and not 14," he added.

More than 30 men have came forward to accuse the "American Beauty" star of sexual misconduct, starting with actor Anthony Rapp, who alleged in October that the 58-year-old made unwanted sexual advances towards him back in 1986 when he was just 14 years old.

Spacey took to Twitter following the revelation, insisting that while he was sorry, he could not remember such an incident ever taking place. One of his lawyers Bryan Freedman later stated that Spacey "absolutely denies" all subsequent accusations, including 20 allegations of inappropriate behaviour during his 11-year post as artistic director at The Old Vic in London.

Another of Spacey's former co-stars Benicio del Toro, who worked with him on "The Usual Suspects", also made a statement last week (ends July 1).

"It's sad about the victims, number one, and sad about (him)," he told The Independent. "But the victims come first. I don't care how talented you are. I'm sorry."
