AceShowbiz - Colin Jost spent his 36th birthday with girlfriend Scarlett Johansson with a sweet dinner date. Just when he thought things were going romantic, they took a turn as his fellow "Saturday Night Live" star decided to play a prank on the couple.
Michael Che, who co-anchors "Weekend Update" with Colin, set a birthday suprise for his friend. He sent an old-school birthday clown who entertained them at their table.
Michael proudly took to Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of Colin's text which was accompanied with a photo of the birthday star and Scarlett.
While the actress looked happy in the photo, Colin was in the opposite of mood as he looked unimpressed by the unexpected clown visit. Colin also wrote, "Goddamit," alongside the pic.
On the other hand, Michael seemingly was satisfied with his prank. "I sent a party clown to colins very intimate birthday dinner," he wrote across the snap, adding a laughing and cying emoji.
Scarlet and Colin made their romance red carpet official at "Infinity War" premiere back in April. in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The 33-year-old actress literally shone in a silver strapless dress with a black belt, while the 36-year-old comedian looked sharp in a black suit and tie.
They were all smiles as they posed together on the red carpet (which was actually purple), occasionally gazing at each other with sweet looks.
Scarlett admitted she was "excited" to have her beau by her side that night. "It was alright. It was not bad, you know - get some laughs in and enjoy it," she said in an interview. "I'm just excited to share this experience with him because I'm so excited to see the film. I haven't seen it before!"
The pair first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted making out in May 2017 during the after-party for "Saturday Night Live" last season finale. They have been keeping their relationship private, but they're reportedly getting serious as they have met each other's parents.
