AceShowbiz - Jeremy Meeks' ex-wife Melissa apparently wants to start afresh following her divorce from the hot felon. And she has her own way to commemorate the milestone in the most wild way possible.
Melissa threw a divorce party at a Las Vegas strip club on Saturday, June 30. Completed with dancers, the party featured a huge cake that read, "From Ex-Con 2 Ex-Wife." The top of the cake had a huge pair of handcuffs which apparently a mock to her ex Jeremy, who left her for Topshop heiress Chloe Green.
During the epic party, Melissa was greeted by a banner that read, "Free At Last." Donning a very plunging black mini dress, she could also be seen playfully nibbling on the cake. A fan also presented her a big portrait of her that he had painted.
"I'm celebrating a new chapter in my life right now," Melissa told Us Weekly at the bash at Crazy Horse 3 in Sin City. "I'm just starting a new chapter in my life and I'm looking forward to whatever the future holds for me. I'm all about positivity. I'm all about supporting females and women. I'm just really excited for what the future may hold."
Melissa married Jeremy in 2008. The latter rose to fame after his mugshot went viral in 2014 and led him to be a successful model. Things went to a scandalous turn when he was snapped making out with Chloe aboard a yacht during a Mediterranean getaway.
It didn't take long for them, who share 8-year-old son Jeremy Jr. together, to split with their divorce being finalized in June. The former couple agreed to share joint legal custody while Melissa has primary physical custody. The model, meanwhile, will have "an approximately 30 percent timeshare."
"Me and his father are on good terms now and we'll be co-parenting for the best for my son and that’s what’s important," Melissa explained.
Melissa also weighs in on Jeremy and Chloe, who recently welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Jayden Meeks-Green. "Congratulations to him on that. That's all I can say," she said.
