AceShowbiz - Model Olivia Culpo has reunited with her American footballer ex Danny Amendola, just three months after their split.

The former Miss Universe 2012 joined the sportsman as his date for a friend's wedding in Houston, Texas on Saturday, June 09, when Amendola served as a groomsman.

Sources tell TMZ.com the stars appeared to be very much in love at the event, and were not shy about kissing, hugging, and holding hands throughout the celebration.

Olivia and Danny have yet to comment on the news of their rekindled romance, which emerges weeks after the beauty admitted she was still too raw from the heartache to discuss it in public.

"We are broken up and it's just so fresh for me. I don't feel comfortable talking about it," the Rhode Island native told news show Access Live in late March.

"Everyone goes through breakups in life," added Nick Jonas' ex. "Everybody has their own way of handling it and it's something that I definitely am not going to get into at this moment. But I am sure everyone can relate to heartbreak."

The couple had been dating for two years before calling it quits, with rumours suggesting Amendola's move from the New England Patriots in Massachusetts to the Miami Dolphins in Florida was partly to blame, as the pair had already been struggling to spend quality time together.

"It had to do with the distance and them barely seeing each other," an insider told Us Weekly at the time. "He got signed to the Miami Dolphins and Olivia wasn't going to move there."
