AceShowbiz - Julia Roberts has signed on to star in the adaptation of Chris Cleave's novel "Little Bee".
The film's script will be written by Kathleen Robertson and the movie will be developed at Amazon Studios.
Roberts will also serve as a producer on the project, in which she'll portray a British magazine editor who reunites with a Nigerian asylum-seeker, named Little Bee, she met during the oil conflict in the Niger Delta.
According to Deadline, the film has been in the works for many years and in 2009, it was reported Nicole Kidman would play Roberts' role.
