The unnamed woman claimed in the suit that he flew into a rage at her and her cousin when the cousin tried to take a picture of him in the parking lot.

AceShowbiz - R&B star Trey Songz is being sued by a female fan who claims he injured her outside a strip club last year.

The unnamed woman has filed a lawsuit against the singer, claiming he flew into a rage at her and her cousin when the cousin tried to take a picture of him in the parking lot of the Vanity Grand Cabaret in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last year, according to TMZ.com.

The woman claims Songz, real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson, grabbed and twisted her arm during the incident, and her injuries could end up causing "cosmetic disfigurement". She also alleges the altercation left her depressed and she's had to get psychiatric treatment.

The fan is suing for medical expenses and other damages.

The lawsuit comes months after the woman's cousin launched legal action against the singer over the incident back in December. In those documents, she claims Songz attacked her, smacking her phone out of her hand and into her face, causing it to break her glasses.

She is suing both the singer and the venue for up to $50,000 (£37,400), claiming managers knew he had a tendency "toward violence and negative interaction with the public."

That unnamed woman claimed they had bought tickets to meet the star in the VIP area of the club, but he was disrespectful to all patrons.
