In a new interview, 63-year-old Maria Dolores calls Georgina 'the mother of my granddaughter' and 'a future daughter-in-law.'

AceShowbiz - Cristiano Ronaldo may have another thing that he needs to prepare besides the upcoming World Cup. His mother, Maria Dolores, recently hinted in an interview that wedding bells are on the way for him and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
In an interview with Cristina magazine, the 63-year-old revealed that she had a difficult relationship with some of Cristiano's ex-girlfriends, including Russian model Irina Shayk. However, she told the publication that she likes the 22-year-old model. "She is the mother of my granddaughter. She is a future daughter-in-law. She's not my daughter-in-law yet [but] she's a future daughter-in-law," she said.
Further hinting that her son would get married soon, she said that the soccer player needs someone by his side. She noted, "We do a lot of mad things in life and there's a time when you need to stop and think and shape your life. He's reaching that point."
During the interview, Maria also admitted that she was "shocked" at first when she discovered that she was going to be a grandmother to Cristiano's eldest son Christiano Jr., who is reported to be the result of an arrangement with a surrogate. She described the young boy as a "special" and "different" child as he had never had his mother by his side.
Cristiano and Georgina first met in central Madrid in June 2016 when he was shopping at a Gucci store. They went public with their relationship in November before making their red carpet debut as a couple at the FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January 2017.
The couple shares a daughter named Alana Martina, who was born on November 12, 2017. The Real Madrid player announced the birth of the little girl via Instagram, sharing a photo of himself and his girlfriend, who lay in bed, from the hospital.
