Cooper plays a country music star with declining career who finds his passion in music again after meeting a talented singer named Ally, played by GaGa.

AceShowbiz - Everyone knows Lady GaGa is a great singer and now she once again shows her talent, both as a musician and as an actress, in "A Star Is Born" remake, which first trailer has just been released for viewing pleasure. Teaming up with Bradley Cooper, she stars in the drama musical and sings original songs in the film.

The 32-year-old singer and Golden Globe-winning actress plays a talented singer named Ally. Her meeting with Cooper's Jack, a country music star who is on the brink of decline, reignites his passion in music and leads to a romantic relationship as they help each other's career.

According to the official synopsis, in this new take on the tragic love story, Cooper plays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers-and falls in love with-struggling artist Ally (GaGa). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer... until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally's career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

Cooper also served behind the lens for the remake of the 1973 film of the same name, marking his feature directorial debut. He wrote the script with Eric Roth and Will Fetters, in addition to producing with Bill Gerber, Jon Peters, Todd Phillips and Lynette Howell Taylor. Ravi Mehta, Basil Iwanyk, Niija Kuykendall, Sue Kroll, Michael Rapino and Heather Parry serve as executive producers.

GaGa wrote the original songs with Cooper and a handful of artists, including Lukas Nelson, Jason Isbell and Mark Ronson. All the music is original and was recorded live. The movie also stars Andrew Dice Clay as Ally's father, Sam Elliott as Ally's manager and Dave Chappelle as Jackson's close friend.

The R-rated movie is set to arrive in U.S. theaters on October 5.
