Appearing on 'Conan', the 'Ranch' actor reveals he is slowly losing his brown locks.

AceShowbiz - Ashton Kutcher wears baseball caps in public to cover up his receding hairline.

"The Ranch" actor is often seen sporting hats when out and about with his wife Mila Kunis and their two children, daughter Wyatt, three, and 18-month-old son Dimitri.

Speaking about his hair during an appearance on "Conan" on Monday night (June 04), Ashton shared that he is slowly losing his brown locks and wears caps to disguise his hairline.

"It's starting to go. I'm a baseball cap guy, so I think I'm O.K. I've established myself as a baseball cap wearing individual. When it does go, you're not going to know that it's gone, because I'm just going to have a ball cap on," he said, adding that he has no interest in buying a toupee. "I'll just let it go. I'll (be a) character actor or something."

Ashton went on to share that he first noticed a change in his hairline at the age of 25. He investigated in hair loss medication but discontinued his treatment when he and Mila decided to start a family because he was worried about potential side effects.

"I went to the hair guy doctor, and he put me on this medication called Avodart. Have you ever heard of this stuff?" the 40-year-old shared, going on to explain his concerns. "Your body produces testosterone. The byproduct of testosterone actually causes follicles to get weaker and fall out, so you take this stuff and it washes away the byproduct of testosterone. But, we don't know what else might be used for that could be good in the body... So, I stopped taking the stuff about three years ago and now I'm experiencing the hair loss."

In spite of Ashton's hair worries, host Conan O'Brien complimented his guest, stating: "You always look good."
